On Sunday, April 14, 2024, Bella Defino Gloria Burkhart, age 3, gained her wings surrounded by her beloved family.

She is the cherished daughter of proud parents, Charles and Emelia Burkhart; sister to Anna Marie Adams, Brantley Burkhart, and Austin Burkhart. Our Angel is the granddaughter of Armida Amato (William) and John Amato (Lori), and Charles and Carol Burkhart. Bella was adored by her Great-uncle Joseph Certo (Alberta), Uncle John Amato (Krista), Aunt Sarah Amato, Aunt Jill Burkhart, Aunt Grace Amato, Uncle Michael Kennell (Laura) and Aunt Alissa Duncan (Adam). She will be missed by her cousins, Lily, Ellie, AJ, Greyson, Lennon, Aurora, Dylan, Jacob, Thea, Sullivan, Gemma, Dawson, Hudson, Michael Certo (Carolyn) and Neen LeMaster (Andrew). She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Anna Marie Defino Certo. She was loved by so many friends and extended family. Bella was a beacon of light to all those she came in contact with. Her smile was infectious and her heart pure perfection. Bella was a heavenly presence even on Earth and a reminder of all that is good. Her legacy will live on in our hearts forever. There are no words! That said, I know Bella must be quoting Carter Crocker "if ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart....I'll always be with you." I know these are her thoughts because I watched you all teach her this! Prayers and Celebration for a wonderful child and family!
