Obituary For Bernice L. (Lienert) Witt

Age 85, of Bethel Park, formerly of Overbrook, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Paul R. Witt; loving mother of David P. (Debi) Witt, Leslie A. (Rodger) O'Toole, Jodi A. (Scott Schneider) Witt; grandmother of Molly O'Toole. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families in addition to countless friends. Bernice was a longtime member of the Overbrook Women's Club and an active member of St. Thomas More Church. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday at noon. Mass of Christian Burial in Resurrection Parish, St. Thomas More Church at 1:00 p.m.

    To the Witt family -- Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. Bernice was my landlady in the late 1980s on the South Side -- she was a warm, wonderful person! Always so kind and full of life and energy. She was so easy to talk to. My prayers are with your family.
