Trittler, Betty J.

Age 89, on Thursday, February 27, 2014 of Brentwood.

Daughter of the late John and Margaret Trittler; sister of the late Dorothy and Jack; aunt of Warren (Lynn) Scheifele and Marcy (Jim) Strutz; grand-aunt of Jeremy, Tim, Jessica and Mark; close cousins of Bill and Tillie Miller and family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:00 Noon. If desired, family suggests contributions to Manor Care - Whitehall, 505 Weyman Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Thinking of family today as they pay respect to a beautiful lady. Sorry we couldn't make it to Pittsburgh, but we're always thinking of her! Daniel enjoyed playing BINGO with Betty at the rehab center ( she always managed to get him a prize) Love, Jason, Kathy & Daniel

    I've gotten to known Betty for the past year or so as a patient at DaVita Dialysis. We often rode together on the transit van. She was a beautiful, friendly person who showed concern and caring for others. We will miss her.
