Miller, Blanche E.

Born April 17, 1926 and raised in Brentwood, Pittsburgh PA. Blanche was extremely proud of her roots in Brentwood and lived almost her entire life in this community. She was also proud of her father who was a Brentwood Borough police officer. Blanche worked many years as a bank teller for Equibank in Brentwood and Mt. Lebanon. Blanche was daughter of the late Emil Kehr and Bella Maers Kehr, sister to the late Mazie Kehr and Emil (Bud) Kehr Jr.; wife of the late Edward V. Miller; mother of the late Barry and Douglas. She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Suzanne Miller (Barry) and Sandra Miller (Douglas). Grandchildren Barry Miller Jr. Jamie (Bourg) Miller, Justin Miller, Stephanie Miller, Hilary Miller, and Great grandchildren Kylee, Marissa Bourg , Barry III and Colton Miller. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 6-8 p.m. where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15205.
