Age 36, of Brentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Beloved daughter of Bob and Brenda (Crawford) Pavlik; loving mother of Carson Plish; cherished sister of Braden and Brent Pavlik; granddaughter of the late Charles and Catherine Crawford and the late Paul and Irene Pavlik. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Brittany lost her long and difficult battle with addiction, following years of struggle. Carson was, and always will be, the one true love of her life. She was a State Champion gymnast and a diver on the Brentwood Swim Team, with a lifelong love of sports. Brittany had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making others laugh. She also had a love and compassion for all animals. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, April 17, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to a scholarship fund for Carson. April 14, 2026 I worked with Brittany in the Women's Cancer Center. She was extremely kind and compassionate with our patients, and always willing to help us nurses. It was apparent to me that she loved Carson to the moon and back. God rest her soul. May her family and friends be comforted, and. special prayers go up to God's ear for Carson.
