Obituary For Carl "Dutch" Gruber

November 21, 1956 - March 19, 2018

Gruber, Carl "Dutch" Age 61, on Monday, March 19, 2018, of Port Vue.

Beloved father of Amy (Jim) Maksin, Carly (William) Upshaw, Suzy Gruber and Nikole Gruber; Pap of Mia and Nathan Maksin and Addison and Avery Upshaw; son of Arthur Russell, Sr. and the late Julia Ann (Yonek) Gruber; brother of Arthur Russell, Jr., Janet Strutt and Arlene Pope. Dutch was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 3-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Smithton Sportsmen's Club, Stock the Yough Program, 35 Sportsmen's Road, West Newton, PA 15089.
