Obituary For Carl W. Ott

Ott, Carl W., Sr., age 90, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Beloved husband of 59 years to Marion G. Ott; loving father of Carl W. (Terrie) Ott, Jr., Thomas L. (Kim) Ott and Barbra L. (Rich) Kilgore; proud grandfather of Raquel (Kolt) Eadie, Megan Kilgore, Nikki Ott, Cassie Ott, Candace Kilgore, Alyssa (Shane) McFadden, Jessica Ott and Richie Kilgore; great-grandfather of Greyson. Carl served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a First Lieutenant and helped build what is now the main airport in Seoul, Korea. He was a longtime and active member in the Concordia Lutheran Church contributing in countless ways and was a proud member of the American Welding Society for 65 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 2-4 & 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Church, Brentwood, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch, dakotaranch.org. or Concordia Lutheran Church, 3109 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
