April 18, 1937 - May 5, 2019

Rightweiser, Carl W., age 82, on Sunday, May 5, 2019 of South Side Slopes.

Former husband of Marlene (Tom) Geyer; loving father of Karen (Brad) Martin, Carl E., Kathy Johnson, Kimberly (Scott) Miller and Cheryl (Richard) Bollinger; "the best" Pap of 14; proud great-grandpap of 14; son of the late Charles and Elizabeth; brother of Donna and the late Joseph and Betty. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

    I remember Carl and Dolly the girls , Toby in tow. Walking up to see Gram on the usual summer night, Stopping to have a chat with my mom and dad. We weren't just neighbors, it was typical times like that made our neighborhood a bit unique. We were Friends. You'll be missed.
