Obituary For Carol Ann (McCreary) Meyers

Age 83, on Thursday, August 18, 2022, of Whitehall, formerly of Mt. Oliver.

Beloved wife of the late James R. Meyers; wonderful mother of Sandy, J.R. (Linda), Matt (Sarah) and Steve Meyers; proud grandma of David Avery, Jr., Rachel, Megan, Brady and Jimmy Meyers; daughter of the late Howard and Marie (Platz) McCreary; sister of the late David (survived by Carole) McCreary. Also survived by all of her wonderful family and friends who she loved very much. Carol will be sadly missed by her companion "Kit". Visitation and services were held lovingly and privately. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Cloverleaf Food Bank, 2 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. One of Carol's final wishes was for everyone to listen to "I'll Be Seeing You" by Billie Holiday and know that she loves you.

    We will always remember Carol, as well as Jim, as the best friends a couple could have. Fond memories of the many trips that we took together to Jamaica, Punta Cana, and their favorite place, Aruba. We will miss Carol very much. Mary & Ralph
