Knight, Carol Jane, age 90, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 of Brentwood. Wife of the late William D. Knight; sister of the late Nancy Louise (Bill) Thomas; daughter of the late Marian S. and Thomas J. Horrocks; aunt of William David (Patti) Thomas and the late James A. Thomas. Carol performed professionally, using the stage name Carol Hall, and was extensively trained in tap, ballet, modern dance, jazz and acrobatic techniques. She shared her love of dance by teaching at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy of Musical Theater, Point Park College, Melodia Performing Arts Center and Sewickley Academy. She owned Carol Knight Studio of Dance Arts and was the Former President of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Dance Guild. Carol was very proud of her students and their accomplishments, some of her students went on to perform on Broadway, summer stock and major theater productions. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m.
