Age 88, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Paul L. Schneider, Sr.; loving mother of Michael E. Jenney and Jeffrey J. (Helen) Jenney; stepmother of Pamela (Pete) Moran and Paul L. Schneider, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Bridget Jenney, Katie (Charlie) Jabout, Sean Jenney and Michael Jenney; proud great-grandmother of Emma Catherine and Hayden Paul Jabout; daughter of the late Joseph B. and Louisa R. Nellis; sister of Mary Lou (the late Ron) Miller, Joseph (Kathy) Nellis, Alicia (the late Wally) Moretti, Bernadette (the late Bill) Fogel and the late Marge (survived by Curt) Rea, and James (the late Elaine) Nellis. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their families and the entire Schneider family. Despite not being common, Kitty raised her children in the 60's and 70's as a single mother with the help of her family. Her greatest pride and accomplishment was her loving family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15.
