September 17, 1920 - January 21, 2017

Hess, Catherine E. (Maierhofer) Age 96, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 of Brentwood.

Wife of the late Gomer D. Hess; loving mother of Nancy (Michael) Wood, Irene "Renie" S. (Russell Decker) Hess, Cathie (Raymond) Hess-Gilmore, Gregory Hess, and the late Donna Schiffhauer, David R. Hess and Gary A. Hess. Catherine had eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William F. Maierhofer. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
