O'Brien, Catherine J. (Burke) Age 89, on Friday, January 20, 2017, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late George P. O'Brien; loving mother of James (Mary Beth), Kevin (Susan), Jeffrey (Sharon), Mark, Lori and the late Kathleen O'Brien; grandmother of Jeffrey, Edward, Brendan, Sean, Shawna (Ryan), Jacquelyn, Caitlin, Owen and the late Richard; great-grandmother of Giuliana, Traesen and Max. Catherine was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her strong faith in the Lord guided her every step. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 3-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 am.
