Age 88, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, formerly of Mt. Oliver and Brentwood.

Loving mother of Florence Dearolf, Colleen Dearolf, Patrick Dearolf, Valerie Endy and the late Loretta Dearolf and Mary Goodwin; grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of ten; daughter of the late Frank L. Wittenberg and Mary C. McPhetridge; sister of the late Donna L. Bonner, Janet C. McPhetridge and LaUna M. McPhetridge; former wife of the late Lester L. Dearolf. Also survived by many other loving family members. Catherine proudly worked as a nurses aid for UPMC for 19 years. She never missed a social gathering, especially if it involved Bingo. Her passions included music and singing. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 6-8 pm. and Thursday 2-4 pm. and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10:30 in the funeral home Chapel.
