Jason, Catherine L. (Stoker) Age 98, peacefully at home with her family, on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late Al Jason; loving mother of Janet Koncsol (Jack) Tamiggi, Joyce Haid (John) Durr and David Jason (Holly Byers); beloved grandmother of Dr. Kathryn Koncsol (Greg) Banner, Mark Koncsol, Chris Haid, Jason Haid and Michael Jason; beloved great-grandmother of Jessie Rae and great-great grandmother of Leila Elizabeth Rae; loving sister of the late Regis and Thomas Stoker. Kay retired from Kaufmann's in 1987 after 32 yrs. of service. Prior to Kaufmann's she was a telephone operator at Bell Telephone and the Pittsburgh Mercantile. She gave joyful service to St. Sylvester's Parish for many years. She was our matriarch, our guiding light, and will be forever in our hearts. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15.
