Obituary For Cecelia Polivka

November 16, 1917 - January 13, 2017

Polivka, Cecelia (Baran) Age 99, on Friday, January 13, 2017, of Carrick.

Beloved wife of the late Konstantin Polivka; loving mother of Barbara (Gerard) Slaterback, Ruth (Salvatori) Davelli and Kathy (the late Del) Goddard; sister of the late Anna Parise and Louis Baran. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Cecelia will be missed by her cat Chyna. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
