Obituary For Charles C. "Chuck" Dieterle

Age 88, on Sunday, March 14, 2021, of Castle Shannon.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Jean; father of Linda (Bill) Snyder, Chuck Dieterle, Cyndie Leap and Kim (Frank) Scruggs; proud Pap Pap of Brittany (Brad) Hucko, Ryan (Andrea) Snyder, Chad (Stephanie) Dieterle, Mandy Dieterle, Jessie (Sean) O'Neill, Greg (Brandi), Morgan (Alyssa), Maddie (Dylan) and Olivia Leap and Nick (Sarah), Ally (Justin) and Anna Garofalo; Great-Pap Pap of nine; brother of the late Edward (Marie) Dieterle and Ann (Norwood) Talbert. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck was a devout Catholic and a loving family man. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday in St. Paul of the Cross Parish, St. Anne Church at 9:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
