Age 81, on Monday, November 2, 2020, of Brentwood.

Loving husband of 57 years to Peggy (Fico) Paul; beloved father of Eric (Van) Paul; Popi of Dylan; son of the late Anna "Alyce" and Nick Bauer; brother of Nick Bauer, Tim (Marsha) Bauer and Marianna (Gerry) Tripoli; brother-in-law of Mary (the late Bill) Howatineck, Frank "Buzz" (Patty) Fico, Tom (Jean) Fico and Paul (Kelly) Fico. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Chuck served in the U.S. Army, worked for J&L Steel for 35 years and was a Brentwood EMT for 9 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church on Friday morning at 10:30. Everyone please meet at church. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held at a later date. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
