Shore, Charlotte A. (McKenzie), age 88, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, of Bethel Park. Beloved wife of the late Philip; loving mother of William (Terry), Kenneth and Raymond (Laura) Shore; proud Grandma of Patrick (Megan McGrory) Shore, Laura (Andrew) May, Rebecca (Johnny) Grushecky, Jessica Shore, Dustin (Amanda) Shore and Hannah (Mike Watkins) Shore; Great-grandmother of Ellie May; sister of Leo (the late Lorraine) McKenzie, Maryann (the late Charles) Daugherty, Michael (Debbie) McKenzie, Diana McKenzie and the late John (survived by Kathy) McKenzie. Charlotte was loved by so many for her compassion that came naturally. From the children on the playground years ago where she worked as a Teachers' Aide who still remember her today to those who cared for her in her final hours. And, of course, family and friends who knew her love for a lifetime. She will be remembered by so many as the kind and understanding person she was. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 10:00.
