Obituary For Cheryl L. Paschel

Age 76, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 22, 2023, longtime resident of Baldwin, formerly of the North Side.

Loving mother of Kelly (John) Martin; beloved Gram of Zackary (Ashley) Miller; daughter of the late Joseph and Peggy Zapp. Also survived by many friends and relatives. Cheryl loved gambling, crafting, cooking, and her beloved Pirates. She loved her job at the Slovak Savings Bank. Cheryl's family would like to extend their thanks to her coworkers and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    I am so sad to hear of Cheryl's passing . I grew up next door to her. I have so many fond memories of her and had a lot of fun with her and family . I am sincerely sorry to hear of this . I am truly sorry I missed the funeral . Prayers for Cheryl's and her family . Love Robin Schmidt

    I've known Cheryl since our underclassmen days at Brentwood High School. Her zest for life, her family and dear friends was a trademark attribute. Her passing is a loss to those who shared any part of her life. My sympathy to you. Wonderful memories will stay with us.
