Obituary For Christine Roslyn (Baritell) Schilling

Age 100, passed away on Monday, May 3, 3021 at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover, Ohio. Christine was born December 2, 1920 to Lawrence and Rosie Baritell in Kingwood, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband David Schilling on June 1, 2006, daughter Rosemary (Bill) Rohrey, grandchildren Glen Rohrey, Vickie (survived by Mark) Aguirre and Frank Hykes, great-granddaugher Christine Gabbert, sisters Mary Rampon, Della Simko, Catherine Marstellar and Virginia Warnick, brothers Fred, Sonny and Harold (Babe) Baritell. She is survived by her son Harold (Alice) Shade, daughter Judy (the late Ronald) Beal; grandchildren Beth (Jimmy) Rozsa, Billy Rohrey, Suzanne (Frank) Haupt, Steve (Mabel) Shade, Eric (Dawn) Hykes, Vanessa (Matt) Lawson and Karen (Chris) Beal; great-grandchildren Ben and Paul Rohrey, Emily Sacksteder, Rebecca Davis, Jennifer Mayfield, James and Ali Haupt, Tyler Bolyard, Colton, Jayme and Samantha Hykes; great great-children Addison, Avery and Harper Davis, Selah and Micah Mayfield and Sierra Gabbert. Services will be held privately. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    David Baritell

    My thoughts and prayers are with the Schillings and Shades at this difficult time. I know it never seems like enough time when it has come to an end, but what a wonderful long and full life Christine lived. She was the last of the Baritell Kingwood Dynasty! I still spend a week in Kingwood every summer for Tri-State, love to drive by the old homestead at Locust and High and think of all the memories I have and what a great woman Rosie had to be to raise those 8 kids. I miss all the Baritells from that generation and I hope they are all together again having the time of their lives. David Baritell

    Fred (Terry) Baritell Jr

    My condolences of the passing of Christine (Aunt Tennie) to the Schilling and Shade families. Aunt Tennie will be very missed. She was always happy and full of life. I have many fond memories of all the Baritell siblings getting together at family reunions in Kingwood and at the Preston County golf course. She loved her family and golf.
