Obituary For Christopher V. Jobst

June 27, 1961 - January 25, 2017

Jobst, Christopher V., age 55, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 of Whitehall.

Son of Verne (Shari) Jobst and the late Patricia Jobst; brother of Kimberly (Dick) Stephens, Karen (Pat) Donnelly and Jennifer Henley. Also survived by nieces, nephews and their families and dear friends. Chris was a pilot and flight instructor as well as enjoyed playing and recording with "Wizdom Reggae" in Chris/Songs Studio. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. Inurnment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    To the Jobst family. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Chris. I had the pleasure of being one of his students and always enjoyed his instruction. We laughed a lot and I learned so much. Chris also helped me to get my first regional job and start my airline career. He will be deeply missed. Bret Fink
