Age 90, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023 of Whitehall, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late James McPaul; loving mother of John (Valerie) Lower and Thomas (Kathleen) Lower; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Eric) Louch, Jaison (Sara) Lower, Jacob (Roxanne) Lower, Donald (Janet) Lower and Nicole Lower; great-grandmother of Gavin Louch, Lucas and Julian Lower, Mason and Dylan Lower, and Ryan, Zachery and Noelle Hazen; sister of Mary Rogers and the late Clyde and Paul Dietzen, Geraldine Miller, Mildred Westerbeck, Ruth Whetsell, Joan Jackson, Janet Nelson and Elizabeth Machin. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held privately. If desired, family asks for contributions in memory of Clare to the charity of your choice.
