Obituary For Clarence Joseph Goritz

Age 102, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 75 years to the late Margaret; son of the late Peter and Mary Goritz; brother of Mildred Kosmach and the late Marie Kubiak, Helen Eiben, Edward Goritz, Charles Goritz and Mercedes Goritz. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joe proudly served in the US Navy Seabees during WWII in the Pacific theater as a Shipfitter 2nd Class. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m.

    I have fond memories of Uncle Joe and his very peaceful nature. He was always an upright and faithful man who modeled his Christian faith daily. May he rest in peace alongside Aunt Peggy, and may they be in the Lord's presence for all eternity.
