Obituary For Claudia "Sam" (Lander) Shade

Age 69, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, of Bethel Park.

Beloved wife of the late John P. Shade; loving mother of Amy (Matt) Parrish and Michael (Becky) Mursch; proud Grandma of Katelynn and Tayler Parrish and Liam Mursch; daughter of late James and Mary Joan Lander; niece of Sue (the late Norb) Farkas. Also survived and missed by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Claudia was a long time employee of Carnegie Mellon University, was an avid Steelers fan, and happiest when spending time with family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine Laboure' Parish, St. Joan of Arc Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church.
