Boykin, Claudine Teresa, age 72, born and raised in Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Beloved mother of Victor James Samuel (Quinn) Venable and Jentel J. Venable and their father James Venable; daughter of the late Olivia and Samuel Miller; sister of Reverend Samuel (the late Anniecy) Boykin. Claudine was a longtime advocate and worked closely with troubled teens as a Social Worker, volunteering and initiating many programs in that field. She was a great mother and will be fondly remembered for her kindness and empathy. Claudine sacrificed her own needs while putting others first. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. where a service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
