Obituary For Dan S. Gimiliano

Age 98, on Friday, October 8, 2021 of Castle Shannon. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Eirkson) and Betty; loving father of Fran (Dave) Blazek, Joy (George) Sirakos, Ruth (Terry) Gahagen, Mary (Bob) Politowski and the late Jim (survived by Sandy) Gimiliano; stepfather of Mark Evans; proud Pap of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother of Dell Bodner and the late Sabatine, Joe, Nin, Pete, John, Sam and Gen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Amedisys Hospice, 480 Johnson Road, Suite 200, Washington, PA 15301.
