Obituary For Daniel P. Mierski

October 27, 1984 - April 6, 2017

Mierski, Daniel P. Age 32, after complications from a brief illness, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, of Murrysville, formerly of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved son of Paul T. and Eileen J. (McCafferty) Mierski; loving brother to Matthew T. (Bethany) Mierski; proud uncle of Levi; grandson of Paul (the late Anna) Mierski and the late David and Joan McCafferty. Dan is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Daniel was a 2002 graduate of Baldwin High School, a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Gilmary Council 3868. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m. Guests are invited to meet at Allegheny County Memorial Park immediately following mass.     I will miss you, Daniel. It's like I said to you in the hospital, it's not goodbye...it's till we meet again. I will always remember the good times we had and the times you made me smile and laugh. Thank you for always having the right things to say to cheer me up.
