Dear Jim, Nicole, Terry & Linda, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have a lot of fun memories of Darlene and all of those Fourth of July celebrations at Aunt Sal & Uncle George's house and New Year's Day at your house. I think of those times often. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. It's very hard to lose someone who has meant so much to you. -Wynne (Rooney) Fedele

I am so very sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Jim and the family. I worked with Darlene at NAMS. Darlene our counselor, and I as school nurse worked together to help our students manage and thrive during their middle school years. Darlene was my go to referral person, my lunch partner, my colleague and most of all, my friend. Having her to consult with made my work easier and more effective. She was a delight to work with and I will miss her. God bless you all. Karen Meley

To the Stocker family: I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife, mom and grandmother. I knew Darlene through the Bethel Park school district first as a mother of one of her NAMS students. My daughter was having difficulties with another student on the bus and Darlene handled the situation beautifully and helped to resolve the situation. I later knew her as the NAMS counselor when I became a full time school nurse in Bethel Park. She was always so kind and intuitive. Finally when she retired I was lucky enough to have her sub for me. She was especially kind when my mom passed away and she subbed for me during that difficult time. Darlene will truly be missed .... not only by me but by a whole community in Bethel Park. I am so sorry for the loss of this kind, caring and compassionate woman. Blessings to all, Cheri Densmore

I remember when Dar came to your new house out east-I found her on her hands and knees outside in the yard(on a very hot day) digging in that rock hard dirt! She was having fun! She had the biggest smile on her face! She was so excited to get your garden going!

Jim, Linda and I were so saddened to read about Dar. She was always a favorite of mine and we are very sorry we didn't stay in touch when you moved. We are in Florida for two months or we would have visited for sure. I'd like to visit with you in the spring when we return. Our thoughts are with you in this very sad time. Ron & Linda Wengryn
