Obituary For Darrell F. Cherok

October 19, 1946 - July 13, 2015

Cherok, Darrell F., age 68, on Monday, July 13, 2015 of Baldwin, formerly of Verona. Ex-husband of Kathleen (Wright) Cherok; father of Tamara (Michael) Francis, Carrianne Cherok; Jarrett (Trisha), and Jason (Jessyca) Cherok; grandfather of Samantha Kate, Alexa Leigh, Nina and Jarrett, Jr.; son of the late Paul George and Mary Jane (Churilla) Cherok; brother of Robert, James (Luella), Edward (Linda), Diane (Al) Liberi and Paul (Beverly) Cherok. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Retired US Steel employee after 33 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Hazelwood at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association of PA, 810 River Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
