Pappy Dave was and still is one of the most inspirational figures within the family, when I lost my grandmother Robynne back in 2022, I felt like I had lost everything, she was the most inspiring and loving woman I had ever known, but Dave filled that gap for not just me, but many others who had known him. I wish that cancer hadn't decided him, but I'm glad that it did not decide anyone else. Pap was inspirational not only because of his personality, but his will to persist. Stage 4 cancer threw him to the ground, but he fought like hell and proved that you shouldn't let a strong sickness ruin your life. His fight inspires me to fight through life even when it seems pointless, and his name and identity shall be engraved within us all. May he be remembered eternally by those who were impacted by Dave and may he rest peacefully, his battle was truly legendary.

I had the honor and privilege of meeting Dave about 6 or 7 years ago. When we met Dave had found out he had a daughter and 2 grandsons. I never seen a man step in and step up like he did when he found out. Classy doesnt define enough what Dave was and will always be. We had some heart to heart conversations over the years and the one in Erie I'll Never forget. I'll miss exchanging Christmas presents brother. The world was a far better place with you in it. I pray for Christina and her siblings that God brings them comfort during this difficult time. 🙏

From the day we met, Dave was never afraid to be himself. Always there to lend a hand and listen when we needed a friend. Prayers and Support to the Family and Friends that lost him way too early in this life. Im grateful to have crossed paths with him in my life and be able to call him my friend.

This is surreal. I've known Dave since he was 15. We've remained friends and I'm heartbroken. I'll miss meeting up over coffee and talking about our families, music and life. Dave, "I love the world" a little less now. My heart is with his children and entire family.
