Age 77, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

He was the cherished husband of Christine Romanus Pasinski; the beloved father of Richard Dean (Jennifer) Pasinski and Daneen (Tim) Goodwin; the much loved "Pappy" of Brett Pasinski, Tanner Pasinski, Victoria Goodwin, and Patrick Goodwin; the beloved son of the late Stanley and Anna Pasinski.

David taught European History in the West Mifflin School District for 30 years. A Renaissance man, David had many interests: hunting, fishing, listening to poetry, writing poetry, reading, traveling, and growing and selling Christmas trees with his son Richard at Santa's Treeland in Penn Township.

A born leader, David was a force of nature. He was the Department Head of the History Department in West Mifflin. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and an ardent supporter of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
