Obituary For Deanna (Weitz) Fraticelli

Age 87, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, of Brentwood and Bethel Park.

Wife of the late Edward L. Fraticelli; loving mother of Ed (Mary Lou), David (Barbara) and Christina (Jim) Meditch; loving grandma of Stephanie, Matthew, Nicholas, Zachary, Benjamin, Emilia, Kathryn, Colin and Megan; daughter of the late William and Lillian C. (Westerbeck) Weitz; sister of David (Donna) Weitz and the late William (Arlene and Arvilla) Weitz. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, January 17, 2025 form 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church at 9:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Gateway Hospice,9380 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    Being a classmate Deanna and I spend many hours of friendship, planning class reunions, going out with friends on a regular basis then living together at the Bethel Park Independent Living facility. I have missed her so very much. Her family has my sincere and deepest sympathy for a fine lady.

    Deanna was a wonderful woman who will be missed deeply. She was a fantastic friend to my mother. We have so many fond memories of our time together in Bethel Park and on a beach trip to Ocean City, MD. May our Lord and Savior welcome her into His Heavenly Kingdom with open arms.
