Urban, Dennis A., Sr. Age 72, on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, formerly of Overbrook.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Pat (Leonard) Urban; loving father of Dennis, Jr. (Linda) and Debbie (Joe) Sokolowski; grandfather of Megan (Vince) Miller, Nicole (Ryan) O'Shurak, Dennis (Natalie) Urban and Joseph and Alyssa Sokolowski; great grandpappy of Banyan Lynne Miller. Dennis was a retired City of Pittsburgh Police Officer, F.O.P. member and a devoted family man. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45.
