It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Dobrila (Soro) Maric, age 92 from Pittsburgh, PA. Dobrila was born March 10, 1933 in Kupres, Yugoslavia and departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA

Dobrila is survived by her son Miodrag, daughter Jelica, and grandchildren Srdjan, Stefan, Slobodan, and Jex.

Sincerest condolences to the Marić, Djerić, and Maleš families. May Dobrila’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her. Memory Eternal, Vječnaja Pamjat ☦️

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. Parastas at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Sava Cemetery.

Sa velikom tugom objavljujemo da nas je jutros napustila naša draga Dobrila (Soro) Marić. Rodjena je 10 Mart 1933 u Rilić (Kupres), Jugoslavija i preminula je 31 Jul 2025 u Pittsburgh, PA, USA u 92oj godini života. Dobrila iza sebe ostavlja sina Miodraga, kćerku Jelicu, i unuke Srdjan, Stefan, Slobodan i Jex sa svojim porodicama.

Opelo će se održati u Nedelju, 3 August 2025 od 18:00 – 20:00 u John F Slater Funeral Home i u Ponedeljak, 4 August 2025 u hramu Svete Trojice Srpske Pravoslavne Crkve u Vajthol (Whitehall), nakon čega će uslediti sahrana na groblju Svetog Save u Kasl Šenonu (Castle Shannon). Daća će biti održana nakon sahrane.

Iskreno saučešće porodicama Marić, Ðerić i Maleš. Neka sećanje na Dobrilu bude blagoslov svima koji su je poznavali. Večna joj slava – Vječnaja Pamjat.
