Garfold, Dolores C. (White), age 86, formerly of Carrick, resident of the Brookdale (Devonshire) of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018. Loving wife of the late Gilbert J. Garfold; beloved mother of Deborah (the late Donald) Sauer, Michael (Donna) Garfold, Alice (the late George III) Gross, Kathleen (Thomas) Bigley; daughter of the late John and Naomi (Duffy) White; sister of Harry "Butch" White of Mt. Washington and the late John, Bernard, James, and Robert White and Rita Bruder; grandmother of Stephanie (Shane) Turoski, Rebecca Sauer, Michelle, Mark, Matthew (Ashley) Garfold, Nicole and Andrew Gross and Joseph (Nicole) and Jamie Bigley. Also survived by ten great-grandchildren. Dorie loved playing bingo, cards, and all activities at the Devonshire with her friends that she considered part of her family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 11:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Basil Church at 12:30 p.m.
