Krawec, Dolores J. "D.J."

D.J. was extremely strong in her faith and very involved with her parish family; to name a few, as an organist, fish fry volunteer, CCD teacher, and numerous other activities. She was a substitute teacher for the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh and was known for her contagious smile, melodic laughter, and caring heart. Friends received at the John F. I have many fond memories of D.J. She was always so generous in many ways to me and my family. Although, we lost touch over the years, I thought of her often and hoped she was doing well. I was sadden to know that after her recent surgery she was having some difficulties. I prayed for her and family and will continue to pray. My deepest sympathy to her husband, Nick and her family. I will miss you my friend. Your smile and laughter were infectious. You were always there for me when I needed a sub and I loved bouncing ideas off of you when we shared our classroom. You were the best choir teacher to the kids too. I will think of you often and do my best to teach the kids as well as you did, they may even get some jolly ranchers too❤️🙏🏼

It was an honor and a pleasure to sing with DJ in the Holy Angels choir. She alway brought a smile and laughter to our practices. Her skill as an organist was amazing. May she rest in peace and be a guardian angel for Nick and her family from above. I can see her and Karen joining together in heaven singing to all. God bless you DJ, Nick and her entire family.
