Valentich, Dona L., age 78, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at UPMC East in Monroeville, PA. She was born on June 12, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Milan Luketich and Anne Luketich (Vukelic) and was raised in the South Side, Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from South High School. Dona was a life-long member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Whitehall, PA, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. On December 15, 1998, she married Frank Valentich who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband, are her daughters Lori A. Bozovich of Dublin, OH, Amy J. (Eric) Reisinger of Venetia, PA, her Grandson Joseph G. Reisinger, and her very dear friends Nicholas and Joann Davic. At the request of the family, services are private. Interment will be at St. George Serbian Orthodox Cemetery which is open to friends and family on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Services are entrusted to John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. The family asks that memorial donations be made in Dona's memory to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Whitehall, PA 15236.
