Donald Peck, age 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2024, after his struggle with cancer.

Born in Pittsburgh on October 27, 1941, Don was the beloved longtime companion of Maureen Frenz; son of the late Jack Forrest "Max" and Alesia Catherine Peck; brother of the late Glenn (Diane) Schmitt; Uncle Buster to Kimberly (Chad) Morgan and Keriayn Schmitt (Jeffrey Little) and their children, Anthony and Lilliana; cousin of Larry (Judy) Gamret, Marie (Al) Weber, along with their son Brett Weber and granddaughter Natalie Weber and the late Alice Gamret. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 2-4 and 6 p.m. until the time of his blessing service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Carnegie, PA 15106 or UPMC Family Hospice Care at Canterbury Place, 310 Fisk Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
