Age 61, on Sunday, August 2, 2026 of Avalon. Son of the late Donald M. Meyer and Joan Meyer (James) Helfrich; loving brother of Denise (Max) Stalter and Darlene (Chad) Giordano; proud uncle of Garrett (Michelle) and Alex (fiance' Garrett Herndon) Kennell and Morgan and Madelyn Giordano; nephew of Rita (the late Renald) Tamburi, Mary (John) Dobrzanski, Janet (the late Robert) Gordon and the late Claire (Ralph) Braun. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Don was a beloved son, brother, nephew, friend, and the best uncle anyone could have asked for. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of science fiction, and his exceptionally sharp mind. Thoughtful, kind, and compassionate, Don treasured his family and friends and had a special gift for making everyone around him feel valued, appreciated, and loved. He maintained close friendships with many of his childhood friends, enjoying opportunities to reconnect and share memories throughout the years. Don's presence brought joy to countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends will be received at the John F.
