Obituary For Donald G. "Toke" Sroka

  • Age 65, passed on Sunday, March 15, 2026, of Brentwood.
  • Loving and cherished husband of his high school sweetheart, Sherry (Alter) Sroka; loving father of Ashley (Chris) Adams; son of the late Harry and Josephine Sroka; brother of Harry (Debbie) Sroka, Patty (Jimmy) Rutkowski, Dennis Sroka, Linda (George) Baca and the late Mary Ann (survived by Dan) Hussar. Also survived by numerous loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dog dad to Jazzmin and Zayta. Don was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He and Sherry enjoyed attending NASCAR races, visiting Ashley and Chris in Florida and traveling the country. He loved spending his time fishing, boating and with family in Conneaut Lake. Don could also be found in the garage working on cars. Toke was the life of the party. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
  • Arrangements were handled privately through the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Please keep him in your thoughts and hearts and he will never be forgotten. Live and love as he did and be at peace as he brings his love and laughter to those who went before him. The good lord has reserved a place so I say goodbye "toke" and may you rest in peace!
