Beloved husband of the late Vicki (Charlier) Lacek; cherished father of Christina Lacek of Florida; son of the late Paul and Antoinette (Mastandrea) Lacek; brother of Paul (Bob) Lacek, Judy (Ron Pferdehirt) Thompson, Mary Levine, Rose (the late Joe) Richard and the Late William M. Lacek, Sr.; uncle of Michael and Mark (Emilie) Thompson, Joe Lacek, Deanna Lacek Philpott, William, Jr. (Laura), Cory (Ryan) and Michelle Lacek, Casey (Brian Bigger) Levine, Andrew Levine, Ashley L. (Rob) Nieman, Joey and Anna Richard and the late Kimberly Lacek; great uncle of Chloe Rose, Gabriel Alexander and Aiden Thompson, Maddie Richard, Robby, Noah Paul Nieman and Miles, Noah, Owen, Sofia and Alayah Lacek; son-in-law of Marjorie A. Snyder. Also survived by many loving cousins and his cat Robby. Don was employed by Aramark as a vendor and retired from South Hills Village as a security guard. Don was an usher at St. Anne Church for many years and loved playing pinochle. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 2-8 p.m., where a Funeral Prayer will be held on Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul of the Cross Parish, St. Anne Church at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Paul of the Cross Parish.
