Layden, Dr. Donald S. Age 93, on Friday, September 2, 2016, of Lockwood NY, formerly of Queens NY.

Beloved husband of 69 yrs. to the late Elva Elizabeth (Orr); father of Elva Glenna (Ted) Andersen and Martin Luther (Doreen) Layden; grandfather of Elva Irene (Jefferey) Yaschur, Theodore Christian (Marissa) Andersen and Caroline Elizabeth (Charles) Key; great-grandfather of Marjorie and Marilyn Yaschur and Sienna Andersen; brother of Warren (the late Julie) Layden; Florence Wright and the late Russell (survived by Margaret) Layden and Lillian (Albert) Leedom. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Don served as a Naval Corpsman in the Pacific and Japan during WWII. Upon returning from the service, he received his Doctor of Podiatry Degree and served patients in Bayside Queens. Arrangments handled by the John F.
