Obituary For Doris A. Niggel

Niggel, Doris A. (Bittner), age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, of the Southside and Carrick. Beloved wife of the late Raymond N. Niggel; mother of Jacqueline (the late James) Wyckoff, Terri (David) Grimm and Janice M. (John) Blosl; grandmother of Melissa (Brian) Few, Clinton (Sarah) Wyckoff, Tammy Grimm, John (Deidre) Blosl and Jesse (Kristi) Blosl; great-grandmother of Connor, Colie, Wyatt, Anderson, McKenna, Jayden, Kye, Hadley, Kensie, Aria and Jesse Jr.; daughter of the late Francis X. and Theresa (Stoehr) Bittner; sister of the late Shirley (Carl) Smith. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Doris enjoyed a good time in life and on vacations with family. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren...her pride and joy. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral prayer Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. Doris' family suggests donations to a charity of one's choice in her memory.

    My Doris! How much I'm hurt. I love you. All I can hear you saying is "I'm 90 can you believe it"!! You were my girl. I admired your beauty. You were the sweetest. If I could take you and a couple others from Asbury to take away and take care for myself, I would've. I hope you are up there drinking the best coffee you can get.
