Obituary For Doris Barnes Rutledge

Age 90, on Sunday, September 26, 2021, of West Mifflin.

Wife of the late Robert Barnes and Edward Rutledge; beloved mother of Debra (Richard) Schademan, Robert (Lynn) Barnes, Donna (John) Barnes and Bonnie (Mark) Walter. Doris was a proud grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of nine; loving stepmother of Edward Rutledge, Cathi Walter and Carol (Robert) Sabo; step grandmother of four and step great-grandmother of five; sister of Elva Stockdill and the late LaVerne Reilly and twin brother Donald Stabler. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service at noon. Mask required upon entrance of church. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
