Age 94, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Born May 1, 1925, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Tewes. Beloved wife of the late Jack H. Wilson; loving mom of Gregory Wilson, Larry Wilson, and Patricia Bronder (Charles); cherished grandma of Sarah Marcy (James) and Carla Bronder-Zettl (Adam); caring sister to the late Donna Grogan. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Strong in her faith, Doris was a dedicated member of Spencer Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She continued to serve others through her work for the Keystone Oaks School District. She was an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 1100 Liberty Avenue., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.
