Obituary For Dorothea A. Posch

March 23, 1962 - April 14, 2017

Posch, Dorothea A. (Golvash) Age 55, after a courageous 29 yr. battle with Multiple Sclerosis, on Friday, April 14, 2017, of Peters Township, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of 34 yrs. to Richard E. Posch; loving mom of Brian J. (Nikki Lower) and Timothy J. Posch; daughter of the late George and Dorothy Golvash; cherished sister of George M., Paul J. (Carrie), Daniel E. (Mindy), Jeffrey A. (Lynne) Golvash and Beth Anne (Joseph) Durkacs. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday and Tuesday from 3-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10.

    Dorothea was one of my life's heroes, such a wonderful person with the courage we all hope we could find in our own lives under similar circumstances, to know her was to love her. She will be so dearly missed.

    My condolences to Rich and his family. Dorthea was a wonderful person, so strong and positive even through her struggles with MS. Rich and Dorthea were great for each other. Rich took great care of Dorthea, and in return Dorthea inspired him to live life full of compassion and love for others. We will miss you Dorthea!.
