Obituary For Dorothy Carolyn (Bernard) Sheridan

Age 85, of Bethel Park, formerly of Gallitzin, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Beloved wife of 59 years to Richard B. "Dick" Sheridan; loving mother of Richard, Maureen (Tim) Case and Kathryn (Jeff) McGregor; devoted grandma of Rebecca, Cara and Leah; predeceased by her parents Joseph and Kathryn Bernard and her siblings Jeanne (Paul) McNelis, Joan (Nick) Cogelia and Helen (John) Yocca; sister-in-law of the late Phil (survived by Janet) Sheridan and the late Mary Lois (survived by William) Trexler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was a retired x-ray technician and a longtime member of St. Germaine Church. As per Carolyn's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions to Our Lady of Hope Parish, 7003 Baptist Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
