Obituary For Dorothy E. Stoehr-Bove

Stoehr-Bove, Dorothy E. (Lanz), age 96, peacefully passed on Monday, March 23, 2020, formerly of Carrick.

Beloved wife of the late Captain Gilbert N. Stoehr, Sr.; loving mother of Judith (Dennis) Becker, Kenneth (Jeri) Stoehr; Mark (Melissa) Stoehr and the late Gilbert N., Jr.; Grammy of seven and Great-Grammy of 12; sister of the late Robert and James Lanz and Mary Baumgart. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Due to the current health crisis, visitation and interment will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to South West Meals On Wheels, P.O Box 731, Carnegie, PA 15106 or the Salvation Army, PO Box 742, Carnegie, PA 15106.

    I am sorry to read about Dorothy's passing. She was a 2nd cousin of my dad's and a 3rd cousin of me. Her loss will be felt by all those who knew and loved her. May God's blessings be on those who mourn her passing from this life into the next.
