Dorothy has truly been a gift to our family...from many encouraging cards when my husband David and I were parenting young children to wonderful words of wisdom spoken to Laura and I as we drove her home from church. What a precious season that was! Thank you for sharing Dorothy with us...we treasure our memories of her! Trisa

I met Dorothy when I first started coming to Calvary in 1998. She would always ask me how my family was specifically by name. She sent my daughter and I cards, encouraging us in our journey with God. She had such wisdom, and passed that on to the younger ones, sharing how faithful God had been to her and imparting truths to me. Truly she was from the mold of Timothy's mother, Lois. I look forward to seeing Dorothy in eternity.

Dorothy was a "mother" to many at Calvary Church. Every conversation with Dorothy was meaningful as she gave wise advice. She was joyful and had a beautiful countenance putting others before herself. Many will remember Dorothy as a "great encourager" as she sent countless cards over the years to all ages; that was her ministry. Dorothy often spoke about her family and how much she loved them. One thing I will remember is when she left a voicemail, she always said "Love, Dorothy". She was a beautiful servant of God. Deb Pilardi
